2008/09 Annual Fund Drive

Thirteen years ago, a small group of members from Redeemer Presbyterian Church began to pray for God’s direction in starting a school. It soon became clear that a classical and Christian school should be established. So, with no money, no students, no teachers and no experience in starting a school, this small group began RCCS. And now, in 2008, RCCS has nearly 320 enthusiastic students on campus representing over 200 families. What results do we have to show for the 12 years of existence? There are over 90 RCCS graduates impacting cultures in various parts of the world and attending some of the most prestigious universities in the country, pursuing fields that vary from medicine to culinary arts. One of the greatest blessings we receive is to see the students develop their gifts and use them to impact the world for Christ.

So, we are committed to, Challenging the Mind, Inspiring the Soul and, it is our desire to provide this opportunity to as many children as possible. This can only be done by staying true to our commitment of maintaining an affordable tuition. One means we have of accomplishing this is through donations to our Annual Fund Drive. This year, the Board decided on the following two-fold focus for all funds from this drive:

• Financial Aid – 28 families received financial aid this school year, but our desire is to make RCCS affordable to even more families.
• Facilities Improvement and Technology – We hope to improve our current phone system and classrooms. In addition, we want to replace all of the old monitors with flat screens and equip all classrooms with overhead projection systems and “smart” boards.

Every donation, no matter how small, will help us reach these goals. Please prayerfully consider how you may help us to challenge the minds of all students and continue to inspire their souls.
