Redeemer Painted Purple

Ravens front office staff painted the town with black and purple spray chalk on Wednesday morning, January, 11. As Baltimoreans woke up, they found the Ravens logo and the mantra "RELENTLESS" at over 500 locations throughout the area.  Locations included high trafficked areas, key destinations, hospitals, libraries and other businesses such as Hunt Valley Town Center, Westminster Town Mall, Aberdeen Town Hall, Cross Street Market, the Inner Harbor, and Redeemer Classical Christian School. At Redeemer, the logo can be seen outside of the Upper School near the orange parking cones. In honor of this exciting event, Mrs. Pattee declared January 13th a RCCS Purple Friday at school.

Technology Renovations

Christmas break was a time for major computer lab renovations at Redeemer. Twenty-nine new flat panel monitors were purchased for the lab and library computers, four new workstations were added to the lab, and four new machines were installed in the library. In addition, tables and chairs were donated which allow much more efficient use of space in the lab. The library computers will allow students to access scholarly research databases. In total, over $13,000 in furniture and technology funds were donated for the upgrades. More updates are planned for the summer, including hardware and software upgrades for the lab workstations.
