RCCS Athletics
Redeemer is a member of the Maryland Christian Athletic League (MCAL)
and the National Christian Schools Athletic Association (NCSAA)

RCCS considers athletic teams to be an integral part in the development of the whole person. Christ calls us to develop the mind, body and soul. While sports are typically thought of as developing the body, they also assist in the development of character. Participation in sports teaches accountability and responsibility to the student. In addition, it teaches reliance on one another much as Paul describes in I Cor. 12 – we are many parts, but one body. We each have differing gifts which are to be used for the good of the Body. However, the emphasis on sports must not over shadow the academics of RCCS. Therefore, RCCS strives to provide a balance between athletics and academics.

The Redeemer Classical Christian School athletic teams are known as the Redeemer Royals. RCCS currently has the following teams:

Boys’ Soccer (Varsity and Middle School) – Fall season
Boys’ Basketball (Varsity) – Winter season
Boy’s Cross Country (non-league sport) – Spring season
Girls’ Soccer (Varsity) – Spring season
Girls’ Volleyball (Varsity, JV and Middle School) – Fall season
Girls’ Basketball (Junior Varsity) – Winter season
